Satellite Coffee’s original brand image was based around retro pulp art. From customer feedback, it was found that this branding while fun and chic, it did not speak to coffee lovers. The customers wanted to know more about the coffees and connect with them. The coffee bag was the first of many branding items to change because of this fact and it ended up driving the direction of the entire brand. This new image speaks to consumers who appreciate handcrafted artisanal quality and connect with the exotic origins (evoked by the label art) of each bean/blend.
